Our Founder
Nathaniel Abell is a young kinesiologist who is passionate about the empowerment of others’ health through exercise. Raised on a local farm, he spent his 4 years at university studying the benefits of physical fitness and, through his years of participation in semi-professional sports, came to recognize the issues within current health and fitness expectations. This experience has given Nathaniel a passion for providing others with the tools they need to be physically healthy —so they can enjoy being active.
With experience in injury rehab and chronic disease management, he has worked with patients of all ages throughout the St. Thomas area. Providing hands-on kinesiology care is a passion for Nathaniel, as he recognizes the barriers that exist for many people who need access to fitness training and injury rehab the most. With specialized fascial stretch therapy certification and a particular passion for senior care, Nathaniel has designed LYFstyle Health and Fitness to help you Live Your Fit.

Strength
Strength in everyday life is vital to our health as it enables us to do what we need in life. Whether it be carrying groceries, getting up out of a chair, or even just walking, adequate strength to carry out these tasks is vital.

Flexibility
Flexibility allows us to move where we want. Without proper flexibility, we cannot reach where we need to carry out simple tasks such as reaching the top shelf at the grocery store.

Coordination
Coordination provides us with the ability to move how we want. Without coordination, it would be impossible to stand still, walk in a straight line, or even pick up a glass of water.
